I made good use of getting details of my platform out though use of the media. This page, and several others will give you access to the details of my platform. As I have noted elsewhere, little has changed in the last 4 years in Ward 5 and I stand on what I campaigned on 4 years ago.

The following lists and links to some of these articles or to articles which are informative overall.  Note that a version of Adobe Acrobat is needed of view some of the items. Unfortunately some of the links are now dead, either through the sites not being maintained or, as for others, having deleted much of the history files 'in error". Where I could, I have and will continue to link to backed up screen captures of the item if I had/have/find one.

  • October 24 Ottawa Citizsen had a brief synopsis of 4 of the 5 of us running. Click here to link to it.
  • October 23, 2014 edition of the West Carleton Review had several articles and letters. If you read just one paper before you vote, I would suggest that one. It can be found here.
  • October 21, CBC radio did some interviews which can be heard here. I will note we were told not to stack the location with supporters, $See if you can figure out who did not play by the rules. Thankfully, CBC edited well and she wound up supporting my position on the issue.
  • Various dates in October I submitted articles or comments to others articles to UnPublishedOttawa.com. These included items on election endorsements; Commuting, Kanata North development, Ward boundaries and engaging other levels of government; running the City as a business and a Project office to support councillors; election sign vandalism and breaking the law while campaigning;Para Transpo and Equality of Service across the city; and one on getting changes passed in council using Urban Chickens as an example.

  • October 18, 2010 - Links to two articles from the Citizen, the first is no longer available, comparing the three candidates. The other is dated October 9 is about why endorsements are often meaningless.
  • October 17, 2010 - CFRA did a review of the wards and in almost as many words said the incumbents are going to get back in, if for no other reason than they are "the devil that you know". Remember, these are the devils that have in some cases had the position for over 20 years. You can't expect change to be done somewhere else if YOU are unhappy.
